Dosage rate:
The powder should not be strewn over the pellets but should be mixed thoroughly into the feed and fed out for seven consecutive days.
Mix 15g into 25kg feed for large flocks, or one teaspoon per 5kg feed. In case of infestation with tapeworm, double the dose for seven consecutive days.
Withdrawal period:
Eggs and meat at the recommended dose, no withdrawal time has to be observed. Neither laying nor hatching is affected.
Symptoms following overdosing:
Flubenol 5% is non-toxic; even considerable overdosing does not produce side effects. In poultry even three times the highest dose for seven days had no negative effects on egg production, egg quality, hatching results, growth of offspring or in any other respect.
Treatment with Flubenol can only be effective if hygiene of pens and houses is observed.
