Equi-I Iodine Wash for Horses

Equi-I is a low foam iodine based coat wash and general skin conditioner that can be used as an aid in the prevention and treatment of a variety of skin conditions including mud fever. Equi-I is an alcohol ethoxylated iodine complex supplying 1.6%w/v available iodine.

Equi-I is a low foam iodine based coat wash and general skin conditioner that can be used as an aid in the prevention and treatment of a variety of skin conditions including mud fever. Equi-I is an alcohol ethoxylated iodine complex supplying 1.6%w/v available iodine.

Usage:
Routine Use: Mix 30 mls with 10 litres of water and wash the horse thoroughly. Can be left safely to air dry. No need to rinse off.
Use with Skin conditions: Mix 30 mls with 5 litres of water and wash horse thoroughly and rinse off. Repeat the wash and leave on coat to air dry.

Light coloured horses may show a temporary staining of the coa. Rinse the second wash off after 1-2 hour to minimise this effect.

Note:
Do not use on lactating animals producing milk for human consumption.

Precautions:
(human) This material is harmful if swallowed. Avoid skin or eye contact. Wash hands thoroughly after use. May cause skin and eye irritation. Repeated exposure may cause skin allergy.

Precautions:
(environmental) Avoid contamination of any water supply with product or empty container. Dispose of waste and container safely.

First Aid:
Contact the National poison's centre 0800 POISON (0800764766) or a doctor immediately. If splashed in eyes, wash out immediately with water. If skin or hair contact occurs, flush with running water.

Below 25C

Disposal: 
​Preferably dispose of product by use. Dispose of product and packaging at an approved landfill or approved facility. Triple rinse container, crush puncture and bury in a suitable landfill.
