Introducing FibreSafe COMPLETE – a new option for savvy horse owners to feed a carefully formulated and completely balanced hay based pellet.
FibreSafe COMPLETE is grain free, soy free, low in starch and sugar, high fibre, moderate protein, entirely NZ grown and made from wholefoods. It is suitable for all equines, including those prone to laminitis, EMS, PPID and ponies. It is also suitable for high performance horses as a high fibre mineralised base or as a nutritious low GI maintenance feed for horses and ponies in light to moderate work across all disciplines.
Ingredients;
Timothy Hay, Cocksfoot Hay, Lucerne Hay, Peas, Flaxseed Meal, Monocalcium Phosphate, Vitamins and Minerals, Salt
FibreSafe COMPLETE utilizes South Island sourced pure Timothy and Cocksfoot Hay grown specifically for the equine market. Using single species hay in this way enables us to guarantee our nutritional analysis and consistency of product while giving all the nutritional and gut health benefits of these low sugar, super fibre, super nutritional grasses. Also included at a lower rate lucerne hay is a high protein, low sugar and starch legume hay that is used worldwide as valuable source of fibre and protein for horses.
Peas are a superb source of essential amino acids and the good quality protein found in peas supports optimum muscle tone and integrity. Both Peas and Lucerne are an excellent source of Lysine, which is an essential amino acid that is important for maintaining healthy skin and joints in your horse by forming strong collagen bonds. Lysine is the most commonly deficient amino acid in the equine diet because it is low in commonly fed cereal grains and grasses.
Finally flaxseed meal is a wonderful supplement to aid muscular growth, development, and to promote optimum digestive health. It contains both Essential and Non-Essential Amino acids and is a good source of Omega 3, 6 and 9 Essential Fatty Acids.
FibreSafe COMPLETE contains a vitamin and mineral mix that has been specially formulated to meet the needs of NZ horses and finally the right amount of Monocalcium Phosphate to balance the calcium phosphorus ratio to the 2:1 level that is required for optimum health.
