D-Scour has been formulated to control scours through the combined action of selected natural live micro-organisms (probiotics) complemented by a natural yet powerful antimicrobial. Another major plus for this product is that it does not contain any chemical or antibiotic components, simply ingredients supplied by Mother Nature.
Each gram contains:
180 million CFU as: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subspecies bulgaricus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Enterococcus faecium, Streptococcus salivarius subspecies thermophilus. Also includes Garlic Extract (Allium sativum).
Properties:
Concentrated multi-strain probiotic with garlic extract for animals affected by stress (associated with pregnancy, birth, weaning and transportation, loss of appetite, scouring and temperature extremes, medication, surgery, training and exercise) or dietary scours.
Restraint:
Using concurrently with some antibiotics may compromise beneficial effects. Probiotic efficacy may be reduced if used in conjunction with some antibiotics. Seek veterinary advice in severe or non-responsive cases.
Administration:
Depress plunger into the mouth, ensure paste is administered on the rear of the tongue. Hold animal’s head raised for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the paste is swallowed. Use recommended dose at first signs of stress* or infection. Administer daily for up to 5 days, or as directed by a veterinarian.
